From Le Vieux Moulin, you can enjoy beautiful countryside walks, and we are situated in the midst of a network of 250 km of mountain biking routes. For hiking enthusiasts, there is also the extensive hiking trail along the entire Breton coast, offering stunning views of the sea.
We are located 15 km from the sea, with lovely seaside resorts and sandy beaches such as St. Quay Portrieux, Binic, and Paimpol. Paimpol is known for its charming harbor, picturesque streets, and the culinary delight of enjoying Coquilles Saint-Jacques, or scallops.
A must-see is definitely the Pink Granite Coast, with its imposing stacks of pink granite rocks and unreal views. You can also reach the "Island of Flowers," Ile de Brehat, from the coast by boat in just 10 minutes, which is a true paradise. The Sept-Îles, seven small islands with a bird reserve, are also accessible by boat.
Lovers of castles and abbeys, you will certainly enjoy Chateau de la Roche-jagu with great views over the valley, visit the romantic Chateau Rosanbo with beautiful gardens, or the sturdy chateau Tonquedec or Abbaye de Beauport from the 13th century. Inland there is a beautiful spiritual place: the Breton Easter island La Vallee de Saints, where enormous statues are situated on a hill.
The larger cities of Saint-Brieux, Guingamp and Dinan are also highly recommended, each with its own atmosphere. We will be happy to inform you about the many tourist attractions/towns. There is a lot to discover!
